We broke up almost two months ago, why do I keep dreaming about my ex?

It's been almost two months since I broke up with my ex, and I haven't contacted him for almost half a month. He hurt me so deeply that I felt depressed a while ago. Recently, I've been doing power hypnosis, and I've been feeling much better. But I keep dreaming about him these past two days. When I wake up, I'm not disappointed, but rather repelled. I don't want to let him into my time when I'm resting. What is my psychology?
Why do I dream about him?

I can relate to how you're feeling. It sounds like your subconscious is still processing the breakup. Even though you're healing, your mind keeps bringing him up because it's a significant event in your life.
Dreaming about him could be your mind's way of dealing with unresolved emotions. It's common after a breakup to have lingering thoughts and feelings, and dreams are just another outlet for those.
It's great that power hypnosis has been helping you feel better. Maybe your dreams are a sign that there's more healing to do, but don't worry; it's all part of the process. Keep focusing on your wellbeing.
Perhaps these dreams are a reflection of your journey toward acceptance. You might not be ready to let go completely yet, and that's okay. Give yourself time, and trust that you're moving forward, even if it's at your own pace.
It seems like you're making progress, but the dreams suggest that a part of you is still holding on. That's natural. Try to view these dreams as a step in understanding and releasing those old feelings, rather than setbacks.
