It's hard to make decisions, hesitate, feel anxious, or even avoid issues. What should one do? By Anonymous | Published on December 18, 2024

I find it hard to make decisions. When faced with choices, I hesitate constantly, feeling extremely anxious and even avoiding the issues. Moreover, I am afraid of conflicts with others, so I carefully avoid conversations that might lead to conflicts. This often harms those around me and affects myself as well.

Hello, dear question asker!

From what you've told me, I really feel for you. I'd love to know what has happened to make you feel so uncomfortable and judge yourself like this.

I'd love to know what kind of strength is supporting you, making you come here to find an answer.

I totally get it. The questioner came here with certain expectations, so I'm wondering what your expectations are?

I'd love to know when the OP feels this way and when he doesn't. And when he doesn't feel this way, what does he do?

I'd love to know why you don't feel that way when you do those things.

It's totally normal to have these kinds of doubts. I've been there too! It's all about having a little more confidence and believing in yourself. What do you think, questioner?

If a miracle happens and you achieve your expectations tomorrow, I'd love to know what you've done to let the original poster know that a miracle has happened!

I'm not sure what's going on with the questioner, but I'm happy to offer some suggestions that might help!

First things first: discover your own strengths!

There's no quick fix, and anything that makes you feel instantly better is just a placebo. It's short-lived and doesn't really mean anything.

It's okay to feel a little unsure sometimes. We all have strengths and weaknesses, and that's totally normal! The most important thing is to recognize your strengths and work on them a little each day. Before you know it, you'll be gaining the recognition of the people around you!

Once you've done all that hard work and feel like you've got enough to show for it, it's time to let your light shine! There's nothing better than a little recognition for all your hard work.

Keep on gathering all those special moments that make you shine, little by little, and find your true self.

It's so important to learn to grow yourself!

Take a moment to think about what you truly need based on your behavior. Find your lost self, reconnect with your feelings, and start growing yourself with the smallest changes in your life. Then, learn to love yourself and learn to please yourself. You are the only person in the world who truly loves you, and only by pleasing yourself can you truly learn how to love others. How can someone who doesn't even love themselves be capable of loving others?

Let's accept our imperfections!

People who lack love often don't love themselves. It's so common! They always like to focus on their shortcomings, tormenting, evaluating, and criticizing themselves. So the first step to loving yourself is to stop blaming yourself.

Nobody's perfect! It's okay to accept your imperfections and know that you have both strengths and weaknesses. When you feel like you're not good enough, remember: you're unique!

It's so important to learn to praise and appreciate your differences. Everyone plays a unique role in this world, and it's so wonderful to embrace that!

I know it can be tough, but I really think you should exercise more!

We all know that exercise is good for us, but did you know that it can also help to lift our mood? It's true! Exercise releases a lot of dopamine, which can make us feel good. It can even help to improve bad moods and make people feel happy. Plus, it's an effective way to prevent and treat the effects of emotional stress.

We all feel down sometimes, but it's so important to keep moving! Whether you go for a walk or go for a run, get out there and get moving as much as you can!

The great Hippocrates, our very own father of medicine, once said something really wise: "Sunshine, air, water, and exercise are the source of life and health."

Exercise is a mood regulator and a cure-all!

fifthly, positive mental suggestion

Self-psychological suggestion is all about keeping those positive thoughts about yourself flowing and avoiding any negative thoughts. When you encounter difficulties, remember that you've got this!

Keep telling yourself, "I can do it!", "I'm great!", "I can do better!", etc. You're doing great! Repeat these confident words to yourself, and you'll see how they help you feel better and better about yourself.

And guess what? All of this has been confirmed by psychological research!

sixth, try to relax and let your body and mind be one.

If you really want to improve your self-confidence, you should try to do everything you say you will do every day. It might take a little while, but you'll be amazed at how much better you feel when you can keep your word!

It doesn't matter if you're talking to someone else or just to yourself. When your heart and your words are in harmony, it means that what you say is completely in line with your inner emotional feelings.

7. Learn to love yourself just as you are!

It's so important to learn to affirm your own value, believe in yourself, and not say you can't do something easily if you haven't done it before. Believe that if others can do it, you can do it too! As long as you're willing to take that first step, because a good start is half the battle, and if you're willing to try, you'll have a chance to succeed.

God has given everyone different potential. And those who believe in themselves can definitely develop their full potential! It's so important to recognize our own strengths and work hard to improve on them. We're all unique and different, and it's so important to be yourself and do what you want to do, and to listen to your inner voice.

I'm so happy you found this platform! It shows that you have strong inner expectations and desires. You are the expert on solving your own problems. Just adjust your mentality and take your time. As long as you don't give up, everything will get better and better!

I'd also suggest some psychology books to the questioner: "Mr. Toad Goes to the Psychologist," "Inner Conflict," "Lifetime Growth," and so on. I'm sure they'll be really helpful for you!

I love you, world! And I love you too!

I totally get what you're going through. Making decisions can be tough, and the anxiety that comes with it can really hold you back. It's important to remember that it's okay to take your time and think things through, but also try to trust yourself more.

Sometimes I feel the same way. To help with decisionmaking, I've started to list out pros and cons for each choice. It helps me see things more clearly and reduces my anxiety a bit. Also, talking to someone you trust might provide some perspective and support.

It sounds like avoiding conflict is causing more harm than good. Maybe we could work on communicating our thoughts and feelings more openly, even if it's uncomfortable at first. Setting boundaries can also help in maintaining healthy relationships.

I struggle with indecision too, and I've found that learning to accept that not every decision has to be perfect can be freeing. It's about making the best choice with the information you have at the moment. And it's alright to make mistakes; they're part of the learning process.

I understand the pressure you feel when making decisions. Perhaps practicing mindfulness or meditation can help calm your mind and reduce anxiety. When you're more relaxed, you might find it easier to make choices without overthinking.
